In short, the DiMarzio DP100FBK Super Distortion humbucker is a bomb of a pickup, and while it can definitely serve as a solid sidekick for valve amplifiers, it can also deliver in the studio.
Real Vintage Sound
The original design has barely changed since 1972, meaning that this pickup operates like a mini sonic-based time machine. The only difference is that the original pup came with a single wire while this more flexible, modernised edition now features a four-wire core to support coil-split switching and phase switching.
